The lead was changed, purported as "Resolved an ungrammatical use of "around".". I am not sure what improvements this is actually meant to implement but it did not make any sentence improvements. What it did do was use the name of the town at the beginning of the second sentence, that was used in the first sentence, and there was no change in paragraphs or reasoning, such as a need for clarification, to use the name twice. It is redundant, and sort of assuming that readers must have Alzheimer's.
Someone explain to me how "based around" is a grammatical improvement over "developed around". Fullerton was actually "developed" by the mill and built on specific criteria of the company and mandates at the time. The town (that would still be Fullerton by-the-way) was designed and actually built around the mill so; literally was built on a plan around the mill. Otr500 (talk) 02:42, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
